ULFA leaders threatens to set aside ceasefire to save existence of indigenous people of Assam

Hojai:

Amid the ongoing row of agitation over the Citizenship Amendment Bill 2016 pro-talks ULFA leaders Jiten Dutta and Prabal Neog Friday claimed they will not hesitate to walk out of ceasefire and take up arms once again to save the existence of Assam and indigenous people of the State.

The pro-talks ULFA leaders said people of Assam will not tolerate if the Centre and the State governments went ahead with the citizenship bill.

Incidentally, the two pro-talk ULFA leaders said this after Digboi Police summoned Jiten Dutta under sedition charges in connection with his recent statement over the citizenship bill when he said there would be no point for them to sit for talks with the government if the bill is passed.
